Alberta schools are responsible for returning items to the LRC, Specialized Services for the Visually Impaired (SSVI). Ship to:
- Braille books
- Audio resources
- Electronic resources
- Large Print books
- Durable kits
Must be returned in the original containers and/or shipping boxes
- Equipment:
- Braillers
- Cassette recorders
- Calculators (other than scientific)
- Fragile/expensive kits:
- Light box materials (all levels)
- Mini-Lite box materials
- Equipment:
- Closed Circuit TV systems
- Language Masters
- Scientific calculators

Some school districts have courier services in place. Please contact your district office to confirm that these services will deliver to the LRC.
As schools are financially responsible for the equipment until it is received by the SSVI, it is recommended that all equipment be returned by a courier service for tracking purposes.
