Learning Resources Credit Allocation (LRCA)
|
The LRCA assists eligible Alberta school authorities towards providing educational programming and to enhancing the learning of Alberta students in grades 1 to 12 (under the age of 20).
LRCA will fund up to 25% (to a maximum credit dollar amount) of the cost of learning resources purchased from the LRC.
The operating principles and procedures for the 2011 - 2012 LRCA are:
- The 2011 - 2012 LRCA begins April 1, 2011 and expires March 31, 2012;
- Eligible school authorities receive a credit of $12.07 per Grade 1 - 12 student, based on the September 30, 2010 enrollment registered with Alberta Education;
- The LRCA is automatically reserved on each purchase at the time the order is placed until the full allocation is used by the authority or school, unless the purchase order requests otherwise;
- To assist authorities and schools, LRC provides summary and detailed information on the status of the LRCA through the Credit Allocation Inquiry facility on our website.
